It was Good Monday the day I left and the Easter holidays were just finishing; you could see this in the roads. Fortunately for me, the traffic jams were in direction to Sao Paulo and we could drive in the opposite way without any problems.
I guess I'm now trained on how to sleep in buses. This time I couldn't get the "Leito" seat, but still had a good night and felt fit to visit the brasilean side of the falls. It was 7am, time for breakfast at the bus terminal. The long distance bus terminal is outside town (6km) so that I had first to take a bus to the center and from there a bus to the Park Entrance. By the time I got there it was 9am and the park had just opened.
It was around 2pm when I finished with the visit and took the bus to town, and from there another bus that took me across the border to Puerto Iguazu, the Argentinean town next to the falls. I arrived to the hostel around 3:30pm. Went to the hostel, had lunch (it's Argentina!) a "Bife de chorizo" for 88 ARS was due again.
After lunch there was still with enough daylight and energy to walk the riverside and take a couple of photos of the 3-countries-border: Argentina, Brazil (to the north across the Iguazu river) and Paraguay (to the west across the Parana River, where the sun was about to set).
I had a great sleep and started the next day slower than usual. I think I just underestimated how much more there is to do on the Argentinean side of the falls. At the end, I left the hostel only at 10am and had to rush at some points to see it all, but I made it.
This place is with right one of the UNESCO's World Heritage site.
