Located at the east end of Lake Lacar, San Martin de los Andes is a
small touristic village providing a combination of good accomodation,
argentinean steak houses, swiss style chocolate shops and austrian
outdoor-wear outlets.
The way out of Pucón back into Argentina was fast. Next to me was sitting Lucas, a 15 years old argentinean boy travelling back home after a couple of weeks training camp by Deportes Temuco, a team playing in Chile's professional league.
He has an offer to play for the team that requieres moving to Temuco with all school/family/social consequences (different country, school systems, etc.). Although argentinean citizen, also in his accent, his father's family came from Temuco and this should help him. When asked why not playing for an argentinean club, he told me that all most clubs in Argentina are centralized in Buenis Aires and that would be an even bigger problem for him and his family. He must be a good player; good for you luck Lucas.
The next day I visited Villa La Angostura inside the Nahuel Huapi National Park. It was a short stop on my way to San Carlos de Bariloche, following the seven lakes road.
