We are in the middle of the year end holydays and other activities are getting more attention, but still the preparation of this trip is progressing well. 
 
Most basic stuff is ready: route and schedule, air ticket, vaccination, insurance, backpack (camera, electronics, cloths and shoes, first aid kit), others in preparation: accomodation and transport reservation for key/high demand places. 

Transport reservation in particular is taking longer than what I expected as the transportation companies seem to be busy with the year end rush and are slow to reply my emails. I hope thist improves in January without having to reshuffle much.
